Tramway Museum Launceston

The Launceston Tramway Museum tells the stories of the trams that ran in Launceston from 1911 - 1952.

There are beautifully restored trams - you can have a ride on Tram 29 - and trams under restoration in our heritage workshop.

Located in the Inveresk Precinct next to the Blue Cafe, the museum is open and the tram runs Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 4pm (subject to volunteer availability)

We also take group bookings outside these times.
