The Mawson’s Huts Replica Museum showcases one of the last surviving buildings from the heroic age of Antarctic Exploration. Home to Sir Douglas Mawson, it’s walls are shrouded with epic stories of courage, science and display relics from the age.
The Mawson’s Huts Replica Museum is on the Hobart waterfront directly opposite Constitution Dock and Mawson’s Place.
The replica was constructed by heritage architects and builders. All profits go towards the Mawson’s Hut Foundation, whose mission is to conserve the original huts in Antarctica, which are still standing today.
