Educational Programs and Workshops

The National Capital Exhibition is specifically designed to cater to the needs and interests of children. It offers five onsite programs delivered over a variety of locations. Four of these programs are available online. All onsite programs are presented by their staff, however, supervision of students remains with teachers and carers. Programs are tailored to year level, deliver learning outcomes and are aligned to the Australian Curriculum (PACER approved programs). 

The National Capital Exhibition, Anzac Parade and Reconciliation Place are accessible to wheelchairs.

Walking and Driving Tours

The National Capital Exhibition offers self-guided walking tours. In about an hour, you can walk along Anzac Parade and learn about the symbolism of the memorials, take in Commonwealth and Reconciliation Places as you follow the Lakeside Walk, or start from the National Capital Exhibition and see the sights on the way to historic Blundells Cottage.

Also, a self-guided driving tour of the diplomatic missions around Canberra. It will take around 40 minutes and a distance of 20 kilometres to complete this tour.
