The Silver City of the West Coast is home to
the West Coast Heritage Centre and provides
a fascinating insight into life in the area during
those heavy mining days.
Across thirteen galleries, exhibits range
from exotic mineral crystals, flora and fauna,
photographic displays, and sinister-looking
surgical instruments to great steam locomotives
in the sheds outside. Whilst in town, walk
through the 100m spray (keyhole) tunnel and
learn its history.
