Zoodoo Zoo is a Zoo and Aquarium Association Accredited, guest funded Wildlife Park that has been serving the Tasmanian community for over 20 years, providing unique opportunities to learn about, appreciate and interact with animals. Under new ownership and management, the passionate Zoodoo Crew are creating an exciting new direction and vision for the future of the zoo.
Zoodoo offers amazing wildlife experiences and encounters, along with interactive educational presentations throughout the day and new and improved café and Playland areas. Included in the entry fee are daily tours which invite guests to hand-feed large animals such as emus, camels and zebras.
Guests are invited to get up close and feed kangaroos and wallabies in the Native Park and experience our new Barnyard Exhibit featuring rare agricultural breeds, including cows, pigs, ponies and many interactive opportunities. Take a wander through the large walk-thru bird aviary, and get up close and personal to furry, feathery, and scaly creatures during many of our regular presentations and exclusive encounter experiences, including our new Keeper for a Day program (ages 16+). Our recently renovated café is an ideal place to sit out of the weather with a coffee, while the Playland area – consisting of our large adventure playground – is a great place for children to use up any extra energy whilst parents take a breather.
