There is so many different parts of Melbourne to see, so how do you see them all? Below is a list of different ways to see Melbourne!
The Free City Circle Tram is the first point of call. Jump aboard and listen to the commentary on all the places of interest around Melbourne. It is a great way to get your bearings and know where everything is. It is also an excellent place to people watch and see the hustle and bustle of the beautiful Melbourne CBD.
Did you know that as well as the City Circle Tram, Melbourne has a FREE tram zone in the CBD. It allows you to get on the normal suburban trams and ride around a section of the city for no cost. It is perfect for getting around the CBD from attraction to attraction and seeing the different areas of the city at the same time.
For the best view over the top of Melbourne, the Eureka Skydeck is the place to be. Soaring 88 levels above the ground and with 360 degree views, you can see all the sights- but from above.
It even has a balcony that you can go out into the fresh air and take in the view. The kids will enjoy ‘The Edge’, a glass room that comes out from the building. Pretty cool … but scary!
Another good option for seeing Melbourne is the Melbourne Observation Wheel at Docklands.
Take a flight on the wheel and see the breathtaking 360 degree views of Melbourne City, Port Phillip Bay and the Dandenong Ranges.
If being high in the sky isn’t your thing, take a cruise along the Yarra River and see Melbourne from a different perspective. Jump aboard Melbourne River Cruises and float along the river with live commentary from the captain.
