This year, Pako Festa will look a little different.
There will be three fabulous ways to experience our regions diverse mix of cultures.
27 February – enjoy a smorgasbord of global food

For one brilliant day, enjoy mouth-watering food offerings from 19 of Geelong’s ethnic communities in 13 different locations across Geelong on Saturday 27 February. There’s something for everyone from Ukrainian Varenyky to Bangladeshi Chicken Biryani and everything in between.
You can choose take-away or dine in options. To ensure a COVIDSafe event, all takeaway and dine-in food orders must be pre-booked at https://bookings.pakofesta.com.au
Patrons can place as many takeaway orders as they wish, but can only dine-in at one location.
Each location and time has limited numbers so place your booking today to avoid missing out!

Running nightly from 8.30pm to 11.30pm on a continuous loop, to give as many people as possible the opportunity to experience this incredible display in a safe way. See Geelong’s cultural community like never before.
The projections feature 30 community portraits capturing the essence and culture of people within our community.
These projections take the place of the Great Pako Street Parade this year – with the organisers providing a more COVIDSafe offering of night projections on the Geelong West Town Hall at 153 Pakington Street.
Expects a rich audio-visual experience that features 30 diverse communities and an intimate insight into each culture.
Discovery Arts Trail
In partnership with the Pakington Street Traders Association Pako Festa will also showcase the work of professional and emerging local artists and local schools in the form of an ‘Elements of Culture Arts Trail’ along Pakington Street between Gordon Avenue and Church Street.
The works will feature in shop windows from 27 February – 27 March, taking participants on a journey along the street to discover a diverse selection of artwork and local businesses.
