Katherine’s annual Great Spring Clean will kick off at 8 am on Sunday, the 22^nd of September, at the Pop Rocket Café, Katherine Hot Springs. We will be ‘spring cleaning’ the Katherine River corridor before the wet season. The Katherine River is our town’s most beautiful asset and a popular walking, riding, and fishing trail.

The Katherine Town Council is again coordinating the event, which each year sees locals contributing a few hours of their morning to scouring the riverbank and corridor to remove rubbish ahead of the impending wet season. You can register and pick up rubbish bags and gloves from the Council staff set up under the trees at the Pop Rocket Café.
