Daily guided walks at the National Botanical Gardens Get the most out of your visit to the Gardens by joining a free guided walk led by one of our knowledgeable guides. These walks allow you to appreciate the beauty and clever adaptations of Australian plants and the research and effort involved in creating and maintaining the gardens. 11.00 am and 2.00 pm daily — Meet at the clock near the entry to the Gardens.

Flora Explorer bus tours at the National Botanical Gardens Discover the diversity and beauty of the living collection of native plants at the Gardens on a relaxing 45-minute tour aboard our Flora Explorer open-air electric bus. Enjoy live commentary of the main highlights of the Gardens and hear stories about Australia’s unique plants in a spectacular bushland setting. Adults $8, children under 16 and concession $5, children under three years old free. 11.30 am 1.30 pm — The Visitor Centre.
First Friday of the Month
Storytime Storytime at the National Botanical Gardens Have fun with stories, songs, rhymes and creative activities about Australian plants and animals in beautiful natural surroundings. Each month features a different theme, so there’s always something new for the little ones. Join us to hear wonderful stories, make new friends and explore the Gardens. $5 per child, infant (under 12 months) and accompanying adult free. 10.00 am – 11.00 am — Crosbie Morrison Lawn.
