Ballarat Wildlife Park

Meet the animals at Ballarat Wildlife Park. Hand feed free-roaming Kangaroos and see Koalas, Wombats, and ‘Crunch’ the 5-metre Saltwater Super Croc!
A daily tour and a schedule of animal presentations will immerse you into the animal world. You’ll see fascinating reptiles including Giant Tortoises, Snakes, Crocodilians, and Lizards. Watch as Tasmanian Devils are fed and lay eyes on the newest arrivals to the park, two Sumatran Tigers.
Around the park, you’ll also see Southern Cassowaries, a pack of Dingoes and Victoria’s only Komodo Dragon. There’s a pair of Goodfellow’s Tree Kangaroos, a Wedge-tail Eagle, Quolls, Echidna, Emus and more.
A colony of Little Penguins call the park home, the world’s smallest penguin species. Speaking of small animals; don’t miss the cheeky Meerkats as they dig and explore in their surroundings.
Spend time one-on-one with an animal with an Animal Encounter experience. Pat a koala, cuddle a wombat or have a snake wrapped over your shoulders! Encounters include a professional photo as a memento of the experience.
Ballarat Wildlife Park is open every day 9 am – 5 pm (closed Christmas Day).
