DESCRIPTION:The Natural Science Gallery\, ‘Transformations: the changing nature of the territory’\, is a special place in the Museum where you can discover multiple crocodiles\, touch real fossils and learn about the marine stingers and mini monsters that live in the Northern Territory. Join MAGNT Curator Emeritus of Molluscs\, Dr Richard Willan\, for an exciting tour through this gallery. \nSuitable for ages 5 to 16 years | Free | Places are limited | Bookings recommended \nAdult supervision essential and a limit of one accompanying adult per booking applies. \nPlease cancel your booking if you are no longer able to make it to free up tickets for others. \nKey Information \nParticipants must be able to remain standing for up to 60 minutes as there will be limited places to sit. \nRegister at the Information Desk in the foyer 15-minutes prior to the start of the program. \nThis talk starts at 11am in the Natural Science Gallery. \nMAGNT Conditions of Entry \nFood and beverage is not permitted inside MAGNT gallery spaces\, Theatrette and/or Discovery Centre. All snacks and drink bottles must be stowed in a locker behind the Information Desk. \nBottled water is permitted on the understanding the bottle is carried in a bag at all times and no water is consumed inside MAGNT gallery spaces. \nBackpacks and large bags\, greater than 30cm on any one side (width\, depth and/or length) must be stowed in a locker. \nNappy bags greater than 30cm on any one side and/or containing liquids and food must also be stowed in a locker. \nWheeled shipping trolleys and pull along carts are not permitted inside MAGNT gallery spaces nor are skateboards or rollerblades. \nAll organic material in your possession\, including flowers and/or feathers collected on MAGNT grounds must be disposed of or left at the Information Desk before entering the galleries\, Theatrette and/or Discovery Centre. \nMAGNT acknowledges the traditional owners of Country across the Northern Territory and beyond\, and pays respect to Elders past\, present and emerging. \nImage: Transformations: the changing nature of the territory installation view\, Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory.
