Over its long course\, it has created life-lasting memories for multiple generations of audiences and earned an acclaimed reputation among national and international performers.​ It is proud to showcase new talent\, originality\, excellence\, culture and Indigenous heritage\, through a diverse and high quality program\, which always promises and delivers a ‘weekend of discovery’ for the music lover. \nThe festival highlights the best in new\, emerging and Indigenous music over free and ticketed venues\, presents the Nannup Emerging Artists Award\, and offers workshops\, talks\, poetry\, camping\, kids activities\, food and artisan markets Over 100 acts across 8 stages\, framed by workshops\, kids’ activities\, camping\, food and market vendors\, and supported by over 450 volunteers\, create an inspiring festival experience enjoyed daily by 5\,000 ticket holders and over 3\,000 visitors. \nNannup is part of Nyoongar Boodjar lands and is home to 14 language groups. Nannup town is situated on the lands of the Bibbulmun people\, and the north side of the Blackwood River (Bilyar Goorbillyup) becomes Wardandi country. The festival takes place during Bunuru – Second summer (season of adolescence).
