Fire Engine Fun

Fire Engine Fun started almost 20 years ago when a Local Perth Firefighter became aware of an old Fire Engine being sold off to make more space in a country Fire Station. It was already a rare find, as most of those classic models had gone during the seventies.
They usually ended up converted to flat bed trucks or farm hacks. So after being saved from retirement, and leaving bushfires behind, it was restored and began a new life of bringing joy to children and families.

Special works were done to meet modern standards required by the Dept of Transport, and it was licensed to carry passengers once again. The Old Fire Engine proved very popular for Charters, Fetes, School Balls etc, but the thing that it was most popular for was children’s party visits. All these years later, it is still the main thing we do. Kevin (current owner), helped as a driver back in the early days, and took over Fire Engine Fun in 2004. To this very day he gets so much joy from doing the children’s party routine, he says it’s the best job in the world. Kevin also does a professional incursion routine into Kindy’s ELC’s and Pre-Schools.

The usual party visit takes about an hour and includes a couple of rides with children and parents on board, followed by the Firehose activity. Each child gets a turn spraying the spinning target with the water from the Fire Engine tank. Before leaving, Kevin presents the Birthday Child with a photo certificate of themselves in uniform with the Fire Engine.

Kevin will also set up a group photo during the visit. It is all about Fun and photos while your children are young, and the Fire Engine party visit is fantastic fun.
