‘Fire on Ice’ to light up O’Brien Icehouse during school holidays!
The spectacular ‘Fire on Ice’ is set to light up O’Brien Icehouse during the school holidays when circus performing ice skater, Tim Matousek juggles sticks of fire while skating around the arena. The ‘Fire on Ice’ spectacular is part of the exciting school holiday program at O’Brien Icehouse during the upcoming school holidays between Saturday 21st September and Sunday 6th October. All-day public skating, including free lessons for beginners, together with the chance to skate with Yeti, the O’Brien Icehouse own Abominable Snowman, ensures there will be something for all the family. Importantly no experience is necessary with the Ice Ambassadors out on the ice to assist visitors of all ages and abilities. The ‘Fire on Ice’ spectacular and chance to skate with the Yeti will be held daily between noon and 3:00pm with public skating available on the two Olympic size ice rinks. O’Brien Icehouse School Holiday Spectacular daily program will include:
All day unlimited public skating – From 9am to late everyday – skate while your favourite music is playing.
Under 8’s Ice Fun – Between 9am to 11am – toys, games and music. The Ice Ambassadors will take children under 8 years of age through games and will set up a snow play area to provide an exciting ice and snow experience for younger children.
Free Lessons for beginners – Get started with a free 15-minute lesson from the experienced Ice Ambassadors to help non-skaters and give them the skills required to enjoy their experience. Every hour from 11am to 2pm.
Skate with Yeti – Skate with the O’Brien Icehouse Yeti every day between noon and 3pm.
Fire on Ice Spectacular – Daily between noon and 3pm.
