Are you a lover of chocolate and would like to learn a little more about the Science of this delicious delight?
In partnership with the Lagoon restaurant, join us as we explore the Science of Chocolate! Strictly for adults only, the evening will start with a fascinating presentation which will cover the origins of chocolate, the principals and influx of small batch “boutique” and DIY chocolate manufacture and also the nature of coco butter crystallisation, tempering and heat control.
There will also be demonstrations of manufacturing chocolate gelato with liquid nitrogen, filling white chocolate macarons with white chocolate and olive oil ganache and filling chocolate profiteroles with milk chocolate and mineral water mousse.
The evening will also include exploring the exhibition for hands-on science and tasting tables and beverages.
Tickets $20 per head (includes one free alcoholic beverage).
