DESCRIPTION:In this hands-on workshop for kids aged 8–12\, learn to write the way that people did in Ancient Greece and Rome. \nTurn a reed into a brush\, write on papyrus\, and explore ancient alphabets and letters. Everyone takes home their own ancient-style writing tool and creation. \nAll materials will be provided for this hands-on experience. \nPlease note that all children must be accompanied by an adult. \nPart of the Being Human Festival.

DESCRIPTION:This November\, Tasmazia & The Village of Lower Crackpot invites the community to come together for a day of celebration\, creativity\, and fun — marking 40 years of Mazes & Murals in the Kentish region. \nOn Saturday\, November 15th\, 2025\, visitors are invited to step into the heart of Tasmazia for a day filled with family-friendly activities\, live entertainment\, and a touch of nostalgia. \nFrom 10am to 4pm\, the grounds will come alive with children’s games\, face painting\, live music\, and a special performance by the Mountain Echoes Community Choir. \nVisitors can also enjoy an art exhibition\, a BBQ lunch\, exciting giveaways\, and a special screening of The Laird of Lower Crackpot — a documentary celebrating the vision and legacy of Tasmazia’s founder\, Brian Inder. \nThe Crackpot Café and Gift Shop will be open throughout the day\, offering delicious treats and unique souvenirs for visitors to enjoy.
