DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in learning as much as you can about horses in a Single Day?\nThen our Horsemanship Day’s for you!\nChoose your own horse or pony for the day\, and learn how to catch\, feed\, groom and saddle up. \nHave a group riding lesson in correct riding position (for comfort and safety for you AND your horse).   \nLearn how to walk forward\, turn and stop\, and following the horse’s movement at walk\, sit trot and rise trot. \nHead out on a Mini Adventure Ride to relax with your horse and practice your new skills. \nLearn the points of the horse in the Vet Game. \nHave a friendly competition with Gymkhana Games – Ball & Racket Race\, Diamond Flag Race\, and Bounce Pony (where we teach you how to jump). \nLearn how to harness up and drive a pony & cart. \nLearn how to train your new horse in our Natural Horsemanship Class.   \nThen put all your skills into action riding an obstacle course bareback. \nAnd at the end of the day be presented with a Trophy or Rosette. \nAvailable every Saturday and Tuesday from 9 am to 4 pm @ $243 pp\, with a maximum of 4 riders\, and a minimum of 1. \nAnd all our refreshments\, morning tea and lunch is served to us from the Blake in our Cafe. \nAnd it’s included in our Weekend\, Long Weekend and 4 Day/3 Night Camps. \nYou can book here or call Helen on 0417 456 093 if you have any questions at all!

DESCRIPTION:Margaret River Region Open Studios (MRROS)\, now in its 12th year\, has become a standout event on WA’s arts calendar. \nArt enthusiasts can explore the picturesque Margaret River Region through unique studio spaces\, ranging from converted barns and sea containers to railway carriages and private homes. The variety of art and experiences offered by the artists is truly remarkable. \nThis year’s MRROS features esteemed artists such as Leon Pericles\, Rebecca Cool\, Lesley Meaney\, Christian Fletcher\, Lauren Wilhelm\, Caroline Juniper\, Ian Dowling\, Nathan Day\, and Gerry Reilly. With a mix of established\, emerging\, hobbyist\, and mid-career artists\, visitors have the chance to discover new talent or acquire work from long-admired creators. \nIn 2024\, the event attracted approximately 12\,200 visitors who made 110\,000 studio visits over the 16-day period\, transforming the region into an immersive art experience. MRROS also recently won Silver at the Australian Tourism Awards in the Festivals and Events category. \nProfiles of participating artists are available on the event website\, allowing visitors to begin planning their creative journey.
