When the family moved to the harbour city of Newcastle she began singing at local Country Music nights scoring  her first professional gig at 13. \nInspired by female artists/songwriters like Dolly Parton\, Shania Twain\, Lainey Wilson\, Miranda Lambert and Kacey Musgraves Max honed her song writing craft by taking multiple trips to Nashville and Los Angeles absorbing everything she could learn along the way. \nAfter 3 years of Covid turbulence 2022 was destined to be Max’s turning point. Max became the 42nd winner of Toyota Star Maker – Australia’s most prestigious country music competition. Winning Star Maker placed Max in the company of previous winners that include Keith Urban\, Lee Kernaghan\, James Blundell\, Beccy Cole\, Travis Collins\, Gina Jeffreys\, Samantha McClymont\, Brad Cox and New Zealand’s Kaylee Bell. \nMax took full advantage of her Star Maker win and spent the year travelling the country performing shows and playing major Country Music festivals as a part of the Star Maker prize. She rounded out the same year as a New Talent nominee in the Toyota 51st Golden Guitar Awards. \nIn 2023 the culmination of all Max Jackson’s efforts came together. She not only signed with the prestigious Stephen White Management (Lee Kernaghan\, The Wolfe Brothers); she also secured a deal with ABC Music and released her 1st single with the label\, Little More Country. That single reached #1 on the Countrytown National Airplay Charts and held the top spot for 3 weeks. Max was also invited to perform at CMA Fest in Nashville and at SXSW in Sydney. Towards the end of 2023\, Max was named the official Ambassador for the Tamworth Music Festival and secured 2 x Golden Guitar nominations at the 52nd Australian Country Music Awards for Best Female Artist and New Talent. She won Best New Talent in January 2024. \n2024 saw Max continue to grow as an artist and entertainer. She toured nationally as the Special Guest on The Wolfe Brothers Still Livin’ The Dream Tour. She has also been performing at Australia’s biggest festivals and she released 3 Top 10 singles in 2024 – Fixin’ Things\, Who You Did It With and Hold My Horses.  \nLittle More Country also took home this year’s Golden Guitar for Single Of The Year \nMax began 2025 in her second year as the Official Ambassador of the Tamworth Country Music Festival. She was nominated for 3 Golden Guitars at the 53rd Australian Country Music Awards and she also co-hosted the awards show with James Johnston. \nMax took home the Golden Guitars for Female Artist Of The Year and Single of the Year for Little More Country. \nAfter performing close to 100 shows in the last year Max Jackson is not only the hottest new artist in the Australian country scene but she is also one of the genre’s hardest working artists. She will be announcing her first headline tour set to kick off in May 2025 and will also be releasing an album later in the year. \nWhen\n\n\nSaturday\, 30 August 2025 | 02:00 PM – 03:00 PM\nSaturday\, 30 August 2025 | 06:30 PM – 10:30 PM\nSunday\, 31 August 2025 | 01:30 PM – 05:00 PM
