This weekend the prestigious Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour will return to Mt Buller for its ninth year.
On Saturday 24 June, an awe-inspiring presentation of short films and documentaries from around the world highlighting mountain culture, sporting ventures, and the environment will take place in the snowy surroundings at Mount Buller.
Audiences will be captivated by the mesmerising cinematography and thought provoking storylines as 390 communities in 35 countries are delved into, exploring extreme sporting feats including BASE jumping, mountain biking, ice-climbing, skiing and snowboarding.
The festival is held annually in Banff, Canada, where the top 80 films are shares across a week. Two hours of films are then selected and tours around the world for international audiences.
Mt Buller is the only Australian snow resort to host the Festival, at the resort’s 180-seat cinema.
