National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
Join us for activities, stories and art sessions that acknowledge and pay respects to the traditional owners of our land.
Bush Tucker Walk
Come on a tour of our University Campus and learn about local bush tucker plants and their various uses. See how many different native animals you can see and find out the plants they eat and the places they hide in.

Koori Art Workshop – My Family
“My Family” is a Koori Art Workshop where participants will be introduced to Aboriginal iconography and create an artwork with their accompanying adult. This artwork will focus on the theme of family. Delivered by Nin & Nate, a creative collaboration between local Aboriginal designer Linda Kennedy (Yuin) and local Aboriginal dancer and choreographer Nathan Leslie (Gamilaraay).

Plant Protectors: Native Plants
Help us find and explore the different Australian native plants in the Discovery Gardens and learn how to take care of them.

Come along and learn some songs and dances around the campfire that celebrate Australian Indigenous culture.
