PCYC Tasmania’s Child Safety Handbook is a reference guide and resource for children, their parents, teachers and carers that provides practical information on a range of child health and safety issues including road safety, water safety, basic first aid, bullying, fitness and nutrition, and drug and alcohol awareness etc.
The Handbook is distributed to every Year 6 student in Tasmania, as well as a range of community organisations and to each PCYC Club with the aim of providing helpful strategies that can be easily implemented by young people and their families.
PCYC Tasmania has had much positive feedback from schools and other community recipients of the publication, who have found it to be an excellent classroom resource and a starting point for conversations about safety and the issues facing young people in our community.
As PCYC Tasmania moves forward with its mission of providing affordable and positive sporting, recreational and social opportunities for at-risk youth, the Child Safety Handbook remains a key tool in demonstrating our commitment to ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all of Tasmania’s children and youth.
Adverting space in now available in the 2016 edition of the Handbook at very reasonable rates, which include a full colour advert in the publication, on our website, social media accounts and in email marketing to our members.
