Penrith City Council – Free microchipping day

You can also speak to Council Officers as well as a range of pet experts and services including the Coreen Ave Vet, RSPCA, DogWise and Cat Protection. Microchipping your dog or cat is important. It helps keep them safe and means you can be reunited quicker if they become lost. Vets, animal shelters and Council can scan their microchip to reunite you both a lot sooner. In NSW all dogs and cats must be microchipped by 12 weeks of age or before being sold or given away (whichever happens first).
