On Saturday February 15, PETstock stores across the country will play host to pet rescue organisations as part of its sixth annual National Pet Adoption Day (NPAD), led by PETstock’s charity
PETstock Assist and leading not-for-profit organisation PetRescue. The initiative urges would-be pet owners to think more responsibly about pet ownership by reconsidering their buying options to help break the cycle of pet homelessness.
With an estimated 200,000 pets living unclaimed in Australian shelters and pounds across Australia. In 2020, PETstock hopes to outmatch last year’s adoption numbers and find even more healthy, happy pets forever homes.
All pets available for adoption receive up-to-date vaccines, are desexed and have undergone a full health assessment.
Pet adoption experts from local rescue groups will also be in attendance to answer any questions and assist with the adoption process.
Pets of all sizes, breeds and ages will be up for adoption. So, whether you are looking for a four-legged fur-ball or something with scales, you are bound to find the perfect fit for your family.
