Macarthur Park was originally part of the estate belonging to colonial entrepreneurs, John and Elizabeth Macarthur, and the land was donated to the people of Camden in 1906 by their granddaughter. Today it features a number of different areas including a heritage rose garden and a wisteria walk, and plays host to the popular Picnic in the Park each year.
Bring a picnic and relax in the beautiful surrounds of Macarthur Park whilst enjoying live acoustic entertainment with floral crown making and pot plant painting also on offer. Camden Council will be handing out free native plants and providing plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained with a jumping castle, face painting and animal farm.
Event dates to be confirmed, visit the website for more details about confirmed date and time.
