For a great family adventure these school holidays come and visit us at Scenic World in the beautiful Blue Mountains.
Enjoy unlimited rides all day on the world’s steepest passenger train, or glide between the clifftops on our famous Scenic Skyway as many times as you like, and if you visit us between October 1 and October 8, you’ll be able to join us for Take Flight, an interactive bird show in the ancient rainforest of the Jamison Valley.
The host of Take Flight, Ravi Wasan, is the founder of Feathered Friends, a sanctuary for sick and injured birds in Western Sydney.
As a passionate educator and advocate for all things avian, Ravi says that the rainforest of the Jamison Valley is the perfect location for Take Flight. “Not only is it the bird’s native habitat, but the valley is a natural amphitheatre and a perfect place to see these amazing birds take flight.”
Two stars of the show, Tyto the Masked Owl and Terry the Red-tailed Black Cockatoo are threatened species so the chance see them up close and personal is definitely one for the school holiday bucket list and a fantastic addition to the Scenic World experience.
Entry to the show is free after admission to Scenic World. Take Flight runs for 20 minutes and is on every day from October 1 to October 8.
So these school holidays, hop onto the Scenic Cableway and descend 545 metres to the valley floor and we’ll meet up for an adventure like no other.
