This summer, TMAG’s galleries will be transformed into an amazing exhibition exploring the ancient world of the dinosaurs. Featuring animatronics, 3D models, close-to-life sized murals and fossil casts you can touch! How did dinosaurs evolve? What were their secrets of survival? And do they still exist today? This is a fee-paying exhibition due to the significant costs involved in presenting such an ambitious program. We are delighted to welcome our visitors to this special event as part of the Royal Society of Tasmania’s 175th anniversary.

Dinosaur rEvolution exhibition – Teacher Preview

On Tuesday, 11 December between 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm TMAG is inviting teachers to drop-in to Dinosaur rEvolution: Secrets of Survival for an exclusive free preview. You can drop-in any time between 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm to visit the exhibition, have a chat to TMAG staff about the Fossil Forever program and put the teacher guide into practice. A staff member from DoE will also be on-site. We know it’s a really busy time of year for teachers but here is an opportunity to have a quick look. Although this offer is free of charge, we do ask that you book via Eventbrite here. The offer is only for teachers, so please use your school contact details.
