Tasmanian Museum & Art Gallery – School Holiday Activities

Be serenaded at TMAG in the first week of the school holidays! Plan a visit to coincide with one of the free family friendly performances from three of the Festival of Voices’ visiting choirs. Each performance will run for approximately 15-20 minutes in the Central Gallery. Tuesday 11 July at 1pm: Hong Kong Children’s Choir Friday 14 July at 2pm: Soulfood (NSW), then at 2.30pm: Contabile (NSW)   In the second week of the school holidays join a range of fun and interesting activities from Tuesday 18 to Friday 21 July. Drop-in on workshops anytime between 11am until 2pm daily. Celebrating the current exhibition Winnie-the-Pooh and friends, these activities explore special partnerships, pairings and pals as found in society and nature. Come along to discover how animals in Antarctica work together to survive through role-play in the Islands to Ice exhibition, learn the art of collaboration or make a portrait of a pal with TMAG’s Art Educator, explore the marvellous connectedness of nature, and work with others to make a silent movie.
