Indigenous netball players from across the country are invited to participate in the annual Indigenous Netball Carnival, held at Sitzler Netball Centre in Marrara from 27-29 July 2018. The carnival is aimed at increasing participation of the Indigenous community in Sport and Recreation in a fun competitive environment. The Indigenous Netball Carnival is also a platform to increase awareness and education around health promotion, health prevention and care benefits for Indigenous people.
The Indigenous Netball Carnival was first held in 2017 with 20 teams competing and over 250 players, coaches, umpires and officials involved. The carnival caters for participants in 13U, 15U, 17U, Open and Mixed age divisions.
