The 2019 TMAG Children’s Festival is returning to the museum for a week during the April school holidays.
The festival launches with a free opening night event on the last day of Term One (Friday 12 April), continuing for five jam-packed days until Wednesday 17 April. Developed around the theme of EarthTime!, this year’s festival will see TMAG travel back in time to explore the Earth and the evolution of the natural world.
There’s something for everyone – from dinosaurs to cave spiders, from ancient storytelling to up-cycled dino-puppets, from pottery wheels to the Festival Nature Zone… Children can also try their hand at mud-brick making, and contribute to the footpath chalk gallery.
Best of all, festival entry is free!”
