Celebrate the annual arrival of some of the ocean’s most majestic creatures as our beautiful Bass Coast waters play host to humpback and southern right whales and even the occasional killer whales. The Island Whale Festival on Phillip Island celebrates the arrival of these incredible creatures in our waters.
This three-day event takes place from 5-7 July 2019, and has something for everyone, with a weekend packed full of free or low cost activities right across the island. Whale spotting will of course be a highlight of this weekend, and visitors will have plenty of opportunities to do this from either land or sea. We look forward to offering you a wonderful stay here at Anchor Belle Holiday park with a great special of 20% off a 2 night minimum stay in one of our fully self-contained 2 bedroom deluxe cabins for the whole of July! Just call us on 03 5952 2258 and mention this special at time of booking – or visit our website www.anchorbelle.com.au
for other Winter Specials.
Winter on Phillip Island is different to the hustle and bustle of Summer, but there is still so much for families to do. The Little Penguins still come in each night, a wonderful opportunity to get up close to view these gorgeous creatures. There are still Koalas to be spotted at the Koala sanctuary, they don’t mind the cooler weather at all. There is also plenty of bird watching opportunities and who doesn’t love our Cape Barren Geese who wander around the island.
Indoor opportunities abound as well, the Chocolate Factory, A Maze’N Things, the Grand Prix Circuit, Clip ‘n Climb, an indoor climbing center and the National Vietnam Veterans Museum – just a few of the attractions available on the island. We look forward to welcoming you to Phillip Island.
