Manly and Northern Beaches
Manly and Northern Beaches attracts masses of tourists, and for good reason. Come and see the remarkable beaches and attractions it has to offer; there are so many ways to entertain the family. It’s only a short while from Sydney CBD by ferry, so it’s the ideal location to visit for a day, or to stay in while in Sydney. The Manly ferries from Circular Quay bring thousands of tourists to the Manly Wharf all day long with ferries leaving every hour from the city and back again. On its own small peninsula, it is bound by Sydney Harbour National park, and the Pacific Ocean. All of the natural beauty is complimented by retail stores, cafes and restaurants, outdoor activities and nature walks. Manly’s Quarantine Station is one of the biggest attractions in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Investigate there during the day or brave the freaky night ghost tours. Also keep on the lookout for native animals! You can even stay overnight - if you dare! Take a stroll past South Steyne beach to Shelley Beach and back. There you can have a swim or go snorkeling – you may see hundreds of yellow tail sting rays, sharks, turtles and occasional dolphins. It is an amazing underwater kaleidoscope so close to a major city! You can’t help but get caught up in the hustle and bustle of Manly, the beaches, walks and cafes and restaurants. The kids will love playing on the beach whilst you relax under a tree.
