A Family Retreat at Huon Valley Caravan Park

Huon Valley Caravan Park is a beautiful park on a unique farm setting. Our powered and unpowered sites are very spacious and provide ample room for your car, caravan and annexe. Large sites are available for the big rigs.

The Park would make an ideal base for day trips into Hobart, Salamanca Markets, Mona, Bruny Island and southern Tasmania. You can catch the bus from the front entrance, and leave your car or camper van at the park.

Stay at the Caravan Park

Whether you’re traveling with a caravan, camper trailer, or tent, the Huon Valley Caravan Park has you covered. They offer powered and unpowered sites, as well as self-contained cabins and cottages for those who prefer a more comfortable stay.

The park is exclusively for paying patrons only.

Park Facilities and Amenities

The Huon Valley Caravan Park comes with modern amenities building with showers, toilets & laundry. The common area has a BBQ, cooktop, microwave, large fridge, toaster, kettle, 2 sinks, picnic tables, benches with stools. There are 10 toilets, 11 hot showers, and 3 sinks.

They also have 6 new washing machines and dryers. There is a dump point located within the park. Dogs are welcome but are to be on-leash at all times.

Opening Hours

The Huon Valley Caravan Park is open all year round. Check-in time is from 11.00 am and check-out by 10.00 am

The Caravan Park office hours are from 9am to 5pm.

Caravan Park Location

The Park is located 37km south of Hobart – just follow the signs from Hobart to Huonville travelling along the Southern Outlet and the Huon Highway. Upon arrival into Huonville, turn right at the roundabout onto Wilmot Road. Travel 1½km until you come to the Mountain River Bridge. The caravan park entrance is approximately 15 metres on the left after the bridge.
