Areas in Western Australia to Visit

Western Australia is best known for its spectacular landscapes, but there is so much more to discover.

In the city … by the beach … on the river … in the hills … or at the park, there is something for everyone in the family!

It’s clear that WA is massive. Unlike you may think, there’s no need to venture too far from Perth to get the full experience this state can provide.

Why not take a day trip and explore with dolphins, snorkel your way towards the sea lion den, see wildlife, ride bikes or take a walk on plenty of tracks or just explore different towns.

Just offshore from Perth is Rottnest Island, home to the cute quokka. There is beautiful beaches, areas to swim and snorkel. Grab a bike and explore the Island on the bike tracks.

A trip down the coast is a must with families, going through towns like Fremantle, Mandurah and Rockingham. All are relaxed, have good beaches and you will find hours of entertainment for the kids.

Margaret River and the Southwest Coast is known for being a fantastic wine region, parent will love, but it isn’t all wine. The attractions for kids are endless, with petting farms, mazes’, play centres, speed jet boats and much more. There is also an awesome range of produce stores where you can have a taste of all the goodies.

We’ve gone and found the activities, the events, the best advertisers and put them all below, so have a click on a region and get started!

“Out of all the advertising and vouchers we do yours is the best!! ” Rollerzone, WA

“What a great newsletter! We have two children aged 4 and 6 and are keen to get out and about with them as much as we can. We are outdoor type people and we love a good day trip and small holidays. Your timetable of events is particularly useful and covers a variety of activities and places to visit. I think the school holiday activities are fabulous. The links to accommodation etc are brilliant too. So thanks to you ‘letsgokids’, We look forward to visiting lots of new places!” Emma Finn
