About Big4 Iluka on Freycinet
Located in the heart of Coles Bay, Big4 Iluka on Freycinet Holiday Park was by Alex and Rosalie Kain in 1989 after spending eight months on the road with two young boys in a caravan.
Their vision was to build a great family friendly caravan park in one of the most popular holiday destinations in Tasmania. Over the years they have improved the park, building new cabins and facilities, such as the tavern bistro, shop and bakery.
It is nestled under the Hazard Mountain Range, just a two minute walk from a stunning pristine beach where you can enjoy awesome sunsets. The park is situated on 10 acres of natural bushland, an ideal location for just relaxing or if it is action you are looking for there are plenty of outdoor activities to participate in.
Cosy Family Stay
At Big4 Iluka on Freycinet Holiday Park, you’ll discover a variety of cosy accommodations tailored to families. Choose from spacious cabins, powered sites, or unpowered sites to suit your family’s needs. All accommodations come equipped with modern conveniences like air conditioning, kitchen facilities, and cosy bedding.
The Camp Kitchens all offer free undercover BBQ’s and the use of fridges & freezers. Dishwashing facilities, seating and microwaves also available for use. Your children can enjoy the Ausplay playground which includes two swings, two slides, flying fox and see-saw. Infant equipment includes a sand digger and two infant animal springers, situated close to our BBQ area for the families.

BIG4 Iluka on Freycinet Holiday Park is a family friendly getaway with large facilities and close access to the beautiful surroundings. On-site we have a cafe/pizzeria, bistro & tavern, takeaway and convenience store.
Guests can explore the surrounding Freycinet National Park, 1km away or enjoy one of the many local activities; tear away in an ATV, take a scenic flight, discover the breathtaking coastline on a Wineglass Bay cruise, go on an Oyster Farm Tour or paddle a kayak! Plus, there are many great spots for fishing close by and safe swimming beaches for everyone to enjoy.
