Victoria’s largest Christmas Lights event, the Christmas Festival of Lights, will return to Adventure Park from Saturday 17 November 2023 with 300,000 new light installations and entertainment that will dazzle everyone in the family this festive season.

Open every night through December (excluding Christmas Day) The Christmas Festival of Lights brings the magic of Christmas and fairy tales to life in 3 million lights over a thousand spectacular light installations, live performances, Santa, plus theme park rides and more.

This year has lots of new things to see including a new Christmas animatronics show plus six massive new light installations totalling 300,000 lights that will illuminate Geelong’s night sky in a sparkling wonderland for the fifth year in 2023.

New entertainment includes a high flying Elf Trapeze show and a life-sized, animated musical singing show including Polar Bear characters, Santa’s Reindeer, a Magic Tree and more.

New light installations includes a 100m Lights Maze, 4m tall Santa’s reindeer, 8m long Ice Castle, 25m tunnel of Candy Canes and 15m Christmas Tree.

These add to an already spectacular lights display full of animals, giant toys, enchanted gardens, fairy-tale scenes, winter wonderlands and the popular shimmering sparkle archway, plus loads more jaw-dropping installations where you can snap a beautiful family photo.

Santa will return to the Park where families can continue their annual tradition and have professional photos taken with the jolly man himself, and kids can post letters destined for the North Pole.

Eight theme park rides will be open including Tea Cups, Air Balloons, the Crazy Coaster, Ferris Wheel, Wave Swinger, Little Buggy Speedway, Carousel and Red Baron. Mini-golf will also be open until dark.

Hear live music from the South Barwon Salvation Army Band performing Christmas carols Friday and Saturday nights, and shop for a stunning Christmas gift or decoration for their tree from the new Christmas Gift Shop.

Tickets are limited for each night and many nights usually sell out on Fridays and Saturdays through December. Adventure Park recommends booking tickets early online to avoid missing out and to get the best ticket price.
