In this fun, creative and crafty workshop program, children learn through play about the creatures that thrive and survive throughout Victoria.
Designed for 5 to 12 year olds, Creative Lab encourages children to use their imagination to add plants, corals and animals to a large beautifully illustrated backdrops of a Victorian habitat.
Children will have the opportunity to make new friends and collaborate in small groups using watercolours and learn fun new skills to create a habitat for Victorian animals they colour in.
To remember their creation, children will be able to take home digital photographs of their group’s creation, as well as keep their own animals.
The workshop runs for 45 minutes and is facilitated by Melbourne Museum learning experts.
Guardians and grown-ups are welcome to join in, or leave the fun to the kids and take a relaxing break in our special pop-up café located just next door from the Creative Lab.
Please note: Creative Lab does not include Museum Entry.
