Good Shepherd Lutheran College NT
Good Shepherd Lutheran College is a co-educational, independent school offering quality education from Early Learning to Year 12 across three campuses in the Darwin region. Each campus features an Early Learning Centre (ages 3–4) and a Junior School (Transition to Year 5), while our Middle and Senior Campus in Howard Springs caters to students from Year 6 to Year 12. A dedicated intercampus bus service ensures smooth transitions between campuses.
Early Learning (Ages 3–4)
Our Early Learning Centres offer a vibrant, play-based curriculum guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP). Educators nurture confidence, creativity, and curiosity through meaningful learning experiences. Children are actively included in Junior School activities, such as assemblies, Book Week parades, Athletics Carnivals, Wellbeing Day, and ANZAC services.
Primary Years (Transition – Year 5)
As an International Baccalaureate World School, we deliver the PYP with a student-centred approach that promotes ownership of learning. Our Junior Schools empower students to explore, inquire, and collaborate – building confidence, independence, and a strong academic foundation.
Middle Years (Years 6–9)
Middle School is a key time for self-discovery and relationship building. At Good Shepherd, students are supported in their personal and academic growth through a balanced program aligned with the Australian Curriculum. We encourage student voice and provide diverse learning opportunities to foster resilience and responsibility.
Senior Years (Years 10–12)
In the Senior Years, we guide students in shaping their futures through flexible study pathways including NTCET and Vocational Education and Training (VET). Our dedicated staff offer personal support and professional guidance, helping students explore post-school options and make informed decisions about their next steps.
