Cubetown Perth
Movement Made Fun
Cubetown is Perth’s brand new home of active gaming – a new form of indoor entertainment that blends movement and puzzle-solving in a range of immersive light-powered challenges. If you’re searching for kids activities in Perth, indoor fun, or a unique family day out, Cubetown delivers a high-energy experience that will get you moving, while being completely disguised as play.
Challenge Arenas
Located in the heart of Perth, Cubetown features over 15 games (developed in-house and always growing) across 6 unique arenas. Designed for everyone aged 6 and up (kids 5 and under play free), Cubetown allows you to play at your pace by selecting from 3 difficulty levels, while also being able to choose between competitive and co-operative play (to set a high score!). Sessions include an hour of gameplay, giving everyone the time to enjoy multiple rounds in every arena, every visit.
Every single room has its own mechanics, game modes and objectives, demanding a combination of teamwork, strategic thinking and fast reflexes:
Vertigo – Conquer the climb but stay off the floor!
Vertigo is packed with colourful LED climbing holds that will get you climbing, stretching and reaching for targets while dodging danger zones on the wall and floor. Every hold is touch-sensitive, making it one of our most exciting challenges for confident adventurers.
Swish – Shoot the lights out and beat the buzzer!
Swish turns basketball into a fast, glowing, action-packed game. Players will either race the clock or memorise a pattern, aiming for the correctly coloured hoops as the lights guide the action. It’s perfect for lovers of the arcade.
Sequence – Chase every button but don’t get caught!
Sequence mixes movement, speed and focus in a fresh take on red-light-green-light. Sprint around hitting targets, but watch out! Sometimes a glowing eye opens, and if you don’t freeze, you’ll end up losing lives. There’s also a fast-paced spelling-challenge version for those who love puzzles.
Bullseye – Aim for fame while dodging the decoys!
Bullseye features a giant wall of flashing hex targets. Aim for your colour and avoid the tricky decoys that look almost the same. It rewards accuracy, memory and fast reactions, and is a favourite for competitive families.
Cubes – Step up to the challenge and light up the floor.
Cubes turns the entire floor into one giant glowing game board. Kids run, dodge, follow patterns, claim territory and react to changing colours and lights. There’s a mode for every play style—from agility and speed to memory and balance.
Pixels – Join the block party.
Pixels uses giant retro gaming controllers to move pixel blocks across a huge screen that evokes excitement for younger players and nostalgia for adults. Tap your way to scoring points in a game that’s big, bright and perfect for groups.
Group Events, Parties, Excursions
Cubetown is one of the most exciting party venues in Perth, offering fast-paced indoor fun no matter the weather or occasion. The venue can be hired in multiple ways depending on your budget, with a party room that can be used for any food and beverage you wish to bring for your group.
Kid’s Birthday Parties
A birthday isn’t just a date—it’s a boss battle, and the birthday star is the main character. Parents can hire all of Cubetown’s arenas for exclusive non-stop fun, or keep it budget-friendly by having groups play their sessions before enjoying some cake in the party room.
School Excursions
Cubetown is quickly becoming a teacher-approved adventure filled with teamwork, movement and problem-solving delivered through kid-friendly high-energy play. It’s perfect for an energetic and rewarding end-of-term outing for students, as well as a regular school sports option.
Team-Building
Cubetown makes team-building days fun with competitive and co-operative modes that get the team (or family) talking and working together. Form a squad, test your strategies and bring your team closer (with a little bit of healthy competition along the way).
Youth and All-Abilities Groups
Cubetown is committed to inclusivity and may be able to offer special variations on its gameplay (e.g. turning down/off volume) to suit any special requirements for groups who wish to bring a new kind of play to the broader community.
