Open to the Public for the First Time in Over 25 Years

You’re warmly invited to The Church Open Day — a relaxed, welcoming afternoon where everyone is encouraged to come along, explore, and enjoy our much-loved heritage property.

Normally open by prior booking only, The Church Tasmania is opening its doors to the public for the first time in more than 25 years. This is your chance to wander through the beautiful 1857 sandstone church and private grounds, soak up the atmosphere, and see what makes this place so special.

Our family would truly love to welcome you and yours.

What to Expect

• Live music throughout the day
• Bagpiper performances at 11.00am (opening), 12 noon, 1.00pm & 3.00pm (closing)
• Matthew Dames performing from 11.00am – 1.00pm
• MOJO Blues Band performing from 1.00pm – 3.00pm

• Local Coffee Van – Le Quart d’Heure selling coffee & sweet treats
• Local Hot Food Van – Bellian’s Kitchen selling hot food & cold drinks

• A relaxed, friendly, welcoming atmosphere
• Complimentary self-serve tea, coffee & water stations
• Free sausage sizzle
• BYO alcohol only
• Plenty of space to relax, wander, and enjoy the grounds
• Fully fenced grounds — children very welcome
• No dogs on the day due to large numbers

If it is raining on the day, the Open Day will be postponed to a later date.
All registered ticket holders will be notified by email should this occur.
