Melbourne’s most iconic playground is set to shine brighter than ever as Luna Park Melbourne announces the return of Luna Pride 2026 – a spectacular after-dark celebration of pride, joy, music and connection taking over the park on Saturday 13 June 2026.
Following the success of its inaugural event in 2025, Luna Pride returns bigger, bolder and even more immersive, transforming Luna Park into Melbourne’s ultimate playground of pride — a vibrant celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community, allies, families and fun-seekers alike.
Running from 6pm–11pm, guests will experience unlimited rides, dazzling performances, immersive entertainment, DJs, live music and unforgettable rainbow-filled moments across the entire park.
At the heart of the 2026 campaign is the event’s central creative symbol: the disco ball – reimagined as a beacon of joy, self-expression and connection, powering the entire Luna Pride universe.
“Luna Pride is about creating a joyful, inclusive space where everyone feels welcome to celebrate exactly who they are,” said Sean Brettle Events Manager at Luna Park.
“Luna Park has always been a place where people come together to escape, connect and create memories. Luna Pride builds on that legacy with a night that is vibrant, heartfelt, playful and unmistakably Melbourne.”
Entertainment highlights include drag host and performer Beverly Kills, DJs, live bands, comedy, vocals, giant illuminated rainbow snail stilt walkers, glitter face painting, immersive photo moments by Volter International and more than 10 LGBTQIA+ performers across the night.
