Melbourne’s Biggest Halloween Party Returns to Luna Park

Bigger scares. Bigger production. One seriously dark Halloween.

This October, Luna Park Melbourne transforms after dark for Luna Dark 2026, bringing six nights of Halloween mayhem to St Kilda from 23–25 and 29–31 October and 4 kid-friendly Day sessions on 24-25 and 31-1 November.

Designed for thrill-seekers and Halloween lovers, this year’s Luna Dark turns up the fear factor with a bigger line-up of immersive horror, live entertainment and after-dark experiences across the Park.

At the centre of the 2026 event are three terrifying maze experiences, including the brand-new Carnival of Screams haunted house, where an abandoned carnival has come horrifyingly back to life. Twisted clowns, escaped creatures and a magician’s final trick gone very wrong await anyone brave enough to step inside.

Guests can also face their fears in Extreme Phobia, an intense maze built around some of our most primal fears, and venture through Harvest of Horrors, where things lurking amongst the crops are anything but friendly.

But Luna Dark 2026 goes well beyond the mazes.

The entire Park becomes a high-energy Halloween playground, with scare zones and themed walk-throughs, roaming performers, live entertainment, DJs, a neon zone, photo moments, the Haunted Spirits Bar, costume competitions and the Wizz Fizz Pumpkin Patch activation – all alongside Luna Park’s iconic rides after dark.

Tickets: Include Luna Dark event entry, unlimited rides and participating Halloween attractions/mazes. Games Huts and pay-per-play experiences excluded.

Luna Dark features horror themes, live scares, darkness, loud noises, theatrical smoke/fog, flashing and strobe lighting and simulated blood and gore. It is designed primarily for a young-adult audience and is recommended for ages 14+.

HALLOWEEN BY DAY – FOR FAMILIES

The scares lighten up during the day, with four family-friendly Luna Dark Day Sessions across the final two weekends of October.

Families can dress up and enjoy Halloween theming, characters and photo opportunities, Harvest of Horrors, Halloween entertainment, a Best Costume Competition, Wizz Fizz Pumpkin Patch Trick-or-Treat fun, face painting and unlimited Luna Park rides.
