Victoria

Victoria has a large range of camping sites both with and without facilities. There are a number of council run parks that have a basic amenities block for people who are looking for a true camping experience, or there are your typical family holiday parks that have everything you need!

Nearby to Melbourne CBD, BIG 4 Melbourne Holiday Park and Discovery Park Melbourne are the two best options. Discovery Park Melbourne, located in Braybrook, has camping sites with facilities to enjoy like; swimming pool, games room, camp kitchen. The BIG 4 Melbourne Holiday Park, in Coburg, has powered, unpowered and ensuite sites among shady trees and gardens. They also have a adventure playground, rec room, swimming pool and swimma spas.

In Echuca/Moama you will find a large range of holiday parks and camping spots. Discovery Parks have four different parks in this area; Discovery Park Echuca, Discovery Park Moama West, Discovery Park Maidens Inn & Discovery Park Horseshoe Lagoon. All parks have huge amounts of camping sites both powered and unpowered, but their fantastic facilities are what makes them great. The kids will love the water tipping buckets and water play area at Moama West and Maidens Inn!
Discovery Parks also have a number of other great parks around Victoria offering awesome spots for a family holiday, in both Warrnambool and Geelong.

Anchor Belle Holiday Park on Phillip Island, has something to suit all budgets, with powered sites and also powered sites with ensuites. They have a number of activities to keep the kids entertained, including indoor swimming pool, jumping cushion, recreation room, games room, ball court and all just a 100m from the beach!

Geelong’s best located holiday park, Barwon River Holiday Park, is conveniently located on the river and only 2km from the Geelong Waterfront. With modern ensuite sites, powered sites, grassed sites, playgrounds, jumping pillow, pool, pedal go karts and more.

Western Australia

Discovery Parks are always a hit among families with their awesome facilities and activities to keep the kids entertained. In Western Australia, there are a number of Discovery Parks that make for the perfect camping spot. The facilities vary at each park, but range from; pools, bouncing pillows, pump track, playground, activity room, pedal go karts and more. You will find them located in Bunbury Foreshore, Bunbury Village, Coogee Beach, Perth Airport, Rottnest Island, Swan Valley and Cockburn.

At Lane Poole Reserve, around 100km from Perth, near Dwellingup, the park is popular for recreational activities. Within the reserve there is nine different campgrounds that you can camp at. Some of the sites have camp kitchens as well.

Perth has a BIG 4 Holiday Park located in Midland. It’s a tranquil tourist park located in the Swan Valley region and only 20km from Perth, offering a range of caravan and camping sites and facilities.

Down on the coast in Mandurah, the Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park is a perfect spot. With a range of caravan and camping options, you can watch the kids frolic in the swimming pools or watch as they climb on the playground or jumping pillow.

If you are after a unique beach resort, with fantastic accommodation options for everyone, then Mandalay Holiday Resort & Tourist Park (south of Busselton) is the spot. With high quality powered camping and caravan sites and facilities for the whole family to enjoy; heated swimming pool, outdoor solar heated pool, waterslide, games room, four different adventure playgrounds, giant jumping pillow and a new summit tower playground!

Big 4 Taunton Farm is a rural Holiday Park in Margaret River. The perfect spot to base yourself to explore the food and wine, surf and nature region. With a number of camping options, the highlight is the farm animals that are staying alongside the camp sites!

Tasmania

Tasmania is the perfect place to take the family camping. With each location not too far from each other, you can take a trip around the Island and camp at every stop!

The perfect family holiday accommodation, Discovery Parks have five different parks across Tasmania. Two in Hobart (Risdon & Mornington), one in Launceston, one in Devonport and another at the top of Cradle Mountain. They have fantastic campgrounds for caravans and tents. Some of the facilities found at the different parks include; playgrounds, bouncing pillows, activity room and more.

Base yourself at Captain Cook Holiday Park on Bruny Island whilst checking out all the great produce that is made on the Island. Directly opposite the beach, offering a variety of accommodation choices, pedal bikes to hire, and kids playground to help the family to enjoy their camping trip.

In Hobart, right near the airport is the Hobart Airport Tourist Park. It is a great spot to park the caravan or pitch a tent. With free wifi, children’s playground and it’s pet friendly!

Up in the Tamar Valley, Low Head Tourist Park is centrally located to so many great attractions. Powered and unpowered sites, free wifi, great kids playground – everything you need in this historic area!

Along the beautiful East Coast there are a number of perfect holiday parks to camp at. Big 4 St Helens Holiday Park offers a variety of camping options for tent or caravan and is located only 300 metres from the waterfront of St Helens. Bicheno East Coast Holiday Park located in the centre of the sunny seaside town, offers guests modern amenities blocks, laundry, children’s playground, rec room with table tennis table and TV plus more.

On the West Coast, Strahan Beach Tourist Park is an affordable, family friendly, cabin and caravan park. The campground is made up of a mixture of grassed or gravel slabbed Powered Sites and Grassed Unpowered Sites. All sites have access to the amenities. The park also has a playground for the kids.

Northern Territory

In Alice Springs, there are two main Holiday Parks – Alice Springs Tourist Park and Big 4 MacDonnell Range Holiday Park.
The Alice Springs Tourist Park is an oasis in the desert. Whether you are towing a caravan, taking a tent, driving a campervan, the park caters for all. With beautifully shaded camping spots, fully equipped kiosk, laundry, swimming pool, kids playground and amenities blocks, you will feel right at home.

Big 4 MacDonnell Range Holiday Park, is renowned for its beautiful surrounds and fantastic facilities. There is a huge range of facilities available, but for the kids there is entertainment galore. From pools, water slide, pedal go-karts, games rooms, bike hire, basketball court, TV room, kids playground, climbing pyramid and BMX track! The best part about it is the famous Pancake Breakfast held every Sunday morning for guests to enjoy.

Darwin has a number of holiday parks for families to enjoy. Howard Springs Big 4 is centrally located to explore Darwin’s many attractions and is the perfect spot to situate yourself to explore Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks. They offer an extensive range of accommodation options and facilities for the family.
Discovery Park Darwin is the closest Holiday Park to Darwin CBD. You will feel like you have entered a tropical oasis with landscaped gardens and shady camping spots and a swimming pool and jumping pillow for the little ones.

Nestled amongst tropical gardens, Darwin FreeSpirit Resort has a relaxed and welcoming feel, with a wide range of accommodation options and facilities, entertainment and activities to keep the whole family intrigued. The Oasis Tourist Park has great powered sites in shady spots and is only a 5 minute drive from Palmerston.

Hidden Valley Holiday Park is set just off the Highway, but feels like you are in a tropical paradise, with the giant shady trees and lush gardens. The sites are spacious and situated in close proximity to the amenities and facilities that the park has to offer. Relax by the pool and meet some new friends!

Stay in Batchelor and explore the beautiful waterfalls and waterholes in Litchfield National Park at Batchelor Holiday Park. Providing a range of accommodations, both powered and non powered sites, ensuite sites and more.

Australian Capital Territory

Dive in. Serve an ace. Get lost in nature – at Alivio Tourist Park. Only 4km from the Canberra CBD, Alivio has a number of accommodation options, from ensuite sites to just powered sites. The Park has a huge range of free activities and facilities, included as part of your accommodation booking. The whole family will love the swimming pool and water play area, playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts, volleyball nets and more.

On the outskirts of Canberra, in Queanbeyan, is Crestview Tourist Park. A quiet landscaped park, with pool, playground, BBQ facilities and shaded camp spots.

New South Wales South Coast

Big 4 Easts have three awesome holiday parks perfect for families in Narooma, Moruya Heads and Batemans Bay. The Narooma Big 4 has grassy camp sites and an awesome island oasis – featuring heated waterpark, pool, spa, slides, dumping bucket and jumping pillow! Tween Waters Holiday Park in Merimbula have powered and powered cabins with ensuite camping sites. The park is set adjacent to the beach in a perfect spot. Facilities include; bbq area, jumping pillow, recreation room.
