Ballarat Wildlife Park

Meet the animals at Ballarat Wildlife Park. Hand feed some of the 100 free-roaming Kangaroos and see Koalas, Wombats, Sumatran Tigers and ‘Crunch’ the 5-metre Saltwater Super Croc!
A daily tour and a schedule of animal and conservation presentations will immerse you into the animal world. Around the park you’ll see Southern Cassowaries, Tasmanian Devils, Giant Tortoises, Dingoes, Emus and more. Visit the reptile house and find Snakes, Frogs and Lizards. A colony of Little Penguins call the park home, the world’s smallest penguin species, and the only species of penguin found on the Australian mainland. Marvel at the six cheeky Meerkats as they dig and explore in their surroundings.
Spend time one-on-one with an ‘Animal Encounter’ experience. Pat a koala, cuddle a wombat or have a snake wrapped over your shoulders! Encounters include a professional photo as a memento of the experience.
Ballarat Wildlife Park is located 90-minutes’ drive west from Melbourne.
