Enjoy striking views of Ben Lomond’s rocky landscape, mixed with alpine vegetation and colourful wildflowers, as you head around Legges Tor, the second highest peak in Tasmania.

This newly built walk will take you from the alpine village to meet the start of the more challenging Summit Pass Track. ​​An easy to moderate walk that will guide you through the rocky landscape mixed with Alpine Flora. Keep an eye out for our resident wildlife along your way.

Follow the ski poles along the route of this cross country ski trail across some small boulder fields to find the junction between Surprise Valley and Little Hell. An easy to moderate walk that will guide you through the rocky landscape mixed with Alpine Flora. Keep an eye out for our resident wildlife along your way.

Learn to Ski or Board

This is not your ordinary Ben Lomond ski resort. Learn how to ski or snowboard with the guidance of their skilled instructors. The ideal spot to start practicing before taking on the more challenging slopes is the novice terrain situated in front of the Snow Sports Building.

Ben Lomond Snow Cam

Their welcoming and experienced team will have you mastering the basics in no time. Lessons are run in the beginner friendly area in front of the Ben Lomond Snow Sports building. All lessons must be booked in advance. Visit their website to know more information or book your lessons.

The only place to purchase food on the mountain is the Café located in the Ben Lomond Snow Sports building, which serves a variety of food and drink options from 9am-4:30pm Saturdays and Sundays.

The Café also offers a dinner service to Creek Cabins guests from 6pm-8pm Thursday-Sunday, consisting of a rotating set menu of homestyle classics. Please note dinner service must be booked in advance.
