Braidwood Accommodation

Braidwood Farm Stay provides two types of accommodation to suit different family needs and preferences.

Tiny Houses

If you love the idea of staying somewhere private and comfortable, the self-contained Tiny Houses are perfect. There are just two on the property, offering a peaceful and intimate experience. Each house sleeps four guests with a queen-sized bed upstairs and two single pull-out beds downstairs. They feature a bathroom with shower and toilet, a kitchenette fully equipped with stove, microwave, and utensils, a cosy lounge area, and a deck where you can watch wallabies, kangaroos, possums, and a variety of birds.

With Wi-Fi and full phone service, you won’t miss the comforts of home. These pet-friendly tiny houses provide the perfect base for families wanting to immerse themselves in nature without sacrificing convenience. Imagine waking to wildlife sounds, enjoying morning tea delivered to your deck, and spending evenings under a starry sky.

Shared Clubhouse Accommodation

For those who prefer a more communal stay, the Shared Clubhouse offers rooms with shared bathrooms and access to a games room, dining room, and lounge area. Meals are included and prepared by a qualified cook in the commercial kitchen. You can dine outdoors on the verandah, in the dining room, or have your meals packed as picnic hampers to enjoy during your adventures.

This option is available when the children’s horse riding camps are not running and provides a wonderful opportunity to meet other families and share stories around the fire.

Farm Tour

One of the highlights of visiting Braidwood Farm Stay is the Shepherd’s Breakfast Working Farm Tour. Starting early at 7 am with a hearty breakfast buffet in the clubhouse, the tour then takes families out to tend the animals and move them to fresh grazing spots. You’ll help harvest fresh produce straight from the garden and snack on delicious, homegrown treats along the way.

This experience costs $50 per family or $20 per adult (aged 15 and over), and $10 per child (aged 2 to 15). It’s a wonderful chance for children to get hands-on with farm life and learn about the hard work and care that goes into sustainable farming.

For younger visitors, the farm also offers fun Farm Parties, where children can cuddle baby chicks, ride ponies, feed goats and chickens, play wildlife photo competitions, and enjoy party games. These sessions run daily and include lunch and treats, making them an excellent option for birthday celebrations or group outings.

Additional activities at Braidwood include horse riding (mini adventure rides, picnic trail rides, and more), wildlife photo competitions, cycling on scenic trails, swimming in the Shoalhaven River, and exploring heritage sites in nearby Braidwood town.
