Experience country life in the city at Collingwood Children’s Farm! Only 5 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD, the Farm’s acres of gardens and green space are a haven for children and adults alike. We are open 9:30 am to 4:30 pm every day of the year, including all public holidays—even Christmas Day.
Our Daily Activities schedule is packed with entertaining and educational opportunities to meet and greet animals alongside the farmers that take care of them.
Head down to the Farm to meet friendly animals, help us let out the poultry, take a photo on the tractor, brush a cow, stroll through the veggie and flower gardens, pet a guinea pig, watch our farmers grade fresh eggs collected from the chooks, relax in the Barn while little ones craft and play with traditional wooden games, and join in on one of our many activities and events! Our farmers add new and exciting activities on the day like Pony Promenade and Guinea Pig Hair Salon, so don’t forget to check out the Daily Activities Board down the boardwalk once you’ve arrived.
Pack a picnic to enjoy in the Stables Paddock or grab a bite to eat at the Farm Cafe. Fruit, veggies and flowers grown at the Farm are available for sale on the way out.
