Our red open-top double decker buses provide unrivalled views of this beautiful city, including local landmarks such as the River Derwent, Tasman Bridge and kunanyi/Mt Wellington as well as an abundance of colonial architecture and city streetscapes.
The City Loop operates between 20 popular locations including the MONA ferry terminal at Brooke Street Pier, Salamanca Place, Battery Point, Wrest Point Casino, Sandy Bay Village, Cascade Brewery, Cascades Female Factory, Hobart CBD, Tasmanian Museum & Art Gallery, Maritime Museum of Tasmania, Hobart Convict Penitentiary, Hobart Aquatic Centre, The Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens and Victoria Docks.
Hop onboard and enjoy professional and informative commentary that is available in 8 languages including English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin and Spanish. Complimentary earphones are available from your driver.

Free Wi-fi is available onboard our fleet of modern open-top and closed-top double decker buses. They’re also equipped with zero emission technology, are wheelchair accessible and family friendly with plenty of storage space for prams and bags.
Your ticket is valid for 24 or 48 hours from the time you first board. Concession and family fares available, children 5 years and under travel for free. Group discounts available on prior arrangement. 
Red Decker operates 7 days a week. Buses depart from the Tasmania Travel and Information Centre in Hobart. Summer (October – April): 9.00am, 10.00am, 11.00am, 12.00pm, 1.00pm, 2.00pm and 3.00pm. Winter (May – September): 10.00am, 11.30am, 1.30pm, 3.00pm. 
Red Decker is a family owned and operated company and have been running double-decker tours since 1997. Our fleet of modern and vintage double decker buses are available for private charter for school excursions, playgroup park visits, birthday parties and weddings.
