Tulip Farms in Tasmania

Northwest Tasmania

Northwest Tasmania allows you to witness the landscape fully explode with seasonal colour. The spring open days run every day from the last week of September until late October, between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Because optimal viewing typically occurs from early October through to the end of the second week, families planning a spring road trip should target this window to see the hectares of tulips in peak bloom.

As a working farm, the paths can be uneven, so the family recommends packing appropriate, sturdy footwear for children and adults. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or directly at the gate upon arrival. Entry fees are structured with families in mind:

Adults: $17 AUD
Seniors, Concessions, and Students: $15 AUD
Children (aged 6 to 17): $3 AUD
Children under 6: Free

Beyond the expansive fields, the farm features an impressive indoor display area. Visitors can escape the spring breeze to admire elaborate floral arrangements, explore the on-site art gallery, or purchase souvenirs, potted tulips, and fresh cut flowers. Settle in for a relaxed afternoon break with traditional Devonshire teas available on-site, where parents can read up on expert tips for growing bulbs at home.
