The Launceston Tramway Museum tells the stories of the trams that ran in Launceston from 1911 – 1952.
There are beautifully restored trams – you can have a ride on Tram 29 – and trams under restoration in our heritage workshop.
Located in the Inveresk Precinct next to the Blue Cafe, the museum is open and the tram runs Tuesday – Sunday 10am – 4pm (subject to volunteer availability)
We also take group bookings outside these times.
