Wicked Cheese Tasmania is a boutique cheese maker and has emerged, in a few short years, to gain recognition as one of the most impressive, high quality, hand-made cheese ranges in Australia.
The Wicked Cheese Triple Cream Brie was awarded the Best at the 2008 Royal Melbourne Show. While, the Wicked Cheese Brie was awarded Best White Mould Cheese in Australia at the 2010 Australian Grand Dairy Awards.
In addition Wicked Cheddar has won Best Cheddar in show at Royal Melbourne in 2013.
Wicked cheese also won champion cheese at Royal Hobart in 2014, 2015 and 2023.
The Cheese Makers
There is some solid cheese making science going on, transforming the purest milk from grass-fed cows into award-winning and decadent cheese.
There are two reasons why Wicked Cheese has gained the reputation and recognition that it has. Our cheese makers are highly experienced and qualified, and meticulously attend to their craft. Secondly, we use only the purest hormone-free and chemical-free milk from grass-fed cows.

The Wicked Cheese café serves traditional cheese platters as well as a range of small meals and tasty desserts. A new offering is the handmade Wicked Gelato that is made by our cheese makers in our factory to be served as fresh as possible to café customers. Surrounded by lawns and child safe areas for you and your family to enjoy. Wicked Cheese is a destination to spend several hours investigating the local cheese and dairy industries.’
Enjoy an all-day complimentary cheese tastings. Choose from their cheese platters, coffee, tea, cold drinks, Tasmanian wines, beers and ciders. Lunch is open from 11:30am to 3:00pm. Opening Hours
Take a relaxed 30-min drive from Hobart to Richmond and enjoy a cheesy extravaganza at the Wicked Cheese Company. Their doors are open daily from 10am to 4:30pm. They are closed on Good Friday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
